✨ Home is more than walls and a roof. ✨
What started as a simple flip turned into something deeply personal—a home for us. Every detail reflects why we do what we do: to create homes that feel as beautiful as they look.
Our journey has taught us that a home isn’t just for living—it’s for making memories. It’s about creating sanctuaries full of intention and spaces that evoke emotion.
If you’re new here, welcome. Join us as we transform spaces—and lives—one home at a time. 🤍
Life is Short. Make it Beautiful.
Are you looking around your house now that the holiday decor has been put away and thinking everything feels just a little blah?!You are not alone.
Follow these easy steps for a quick spring refresh.
1) Remove as much as you can from the space so you can give everything a good dusting.
2) Start with pretty books (every designer’s secret weapon) I like to stack 3-4 together. I have my favorites to display on our coffee table.
3) On the top of each stack add an object- I used some pretty coasters, candles and an antique bowl full of collected matchbooks.
4) A pretty vase full of fresh flowers (these roses from TJs are gorgeous) is always good!
5) I like to add a little color. I used these faux stems— they are insanely good! It’s very hard to tell they are fake!
Comment “REFRESH” and I will send you links for all these things.
Happy refreshing! 💕
Have you ever walked into a space and thought, “How did they pull this all together?” The truth is, behind every perfectly styled room is a mountain of decisions
-ones you don’t even realize need to be made until you’re in the thick of it. That’s the magic of working with a designer.
When we created this bar, it wasn’t just about picking pretty finishes. It was about thinking through every detail: the spacing between the shelves to fit the barware and bottles just right, the deep brown paint that makes the fluted cabinets stand out, the hammered brass sink that feels both functional and luxe, even the placement of drawers inside the cabinets for easy access to all the things you don’t want on display.
It’s about making it work for your life. But I get it: knowing where to start can feel overwhelming. That’s where we come in. We are here to guide you through the process, to help you take those ideas floating around in your head and turn them into something tangible, something beautiful.
If you’ve been dreaming of creating a space like this—whether it’s a bar, a kitchen, or a cozy nook—there’s no better time than now. Let’s get started. The dream space you’ve been imagining? It’s closer than you think. 💫
Hi, I’m Allison, the principal designer and owner of Clouz Houz—a family-run design studio based in Bend, Oregon.
Our story is one of reinvention. My husband, Derrick, and I started over mid-life, pursuing a life full of what makes us happy and purpose. We believe Life is Short. Make It Beautiful. That belief inspires everything we do, from transforming homes to sharing designer tips, offering virtual services, and helping our clients create spaces that feel personal, intentional, and uniquely theirs.
Our mission is simple: to show that good design is for everyone—regardless of budget. Whether we’re working on full-scale renovations, styling spaces, or empowering clients with our virtual Design Plan Only or Designer-for-a-Day services, our goal is always the same: to create spaces that tell YOUR story.
As we reflect on 2024, we see both growth and lessons learned. We’re stepping into 2025 with a renewed sense of creativity, innovation, and intention. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that meaningful change requires stepping outside your comfort zone. ✨ And oh boy, this is a hard one for me!!
So, whoever needs to hear this: If you want something new, the time to change is now. Can we make a pact?! I’m doing this to hold myself accountable with you!! Let’s make 2025 the year we lean into possibility and beauty—in our homes, in our work, and in our lives.
We can’t wait to take you on this journey with us. 🤍
