We wanted to share a bit about the journey that brought us to this adventuresome, little town of Bend, Oregon!

When we moved here five years ago we were looking for a fresh perspective on life. It took us half our lives to realize that the world wasn’t slowing down for us to catch up… it was now or never to live each day to its fullest and in order to do so we needed to hit the reset button.

I recently listened to a conversation between @boxwoodavenue and @alexisnegranti, both entrepreneurs that I admire. Alexis said something that really resonated with me- “you can create anything if you are willing to be uncomfortable.” That couldn’t be more true. The idea of leaving our life as we knew it and starting a business together was out of our comfort zone to say the least. But sometimes taking a risk is necessary. We are living out our dream and I have to say- it feels just… So. Damn. Good. Ha! I can’t say there weren’t bumps in the road, but we rolled through them. We are here now.

Our mantra: “Life is Short. Make it Beautiful” was derived shortly after our move. It sums up life priorities for us as a family, but also as a business. Live with intention. Live with passion. Live with nature. Live with authenticity. Live with appreciation for the simple things. We moved our family to Bend- where the mountains, rivers and lakes collide. A place we had always considered a “vacation spot” over the years became home. We launched Clouz Houz almost 1.5 years ago and we haven’t looked back.

We are forever grateful for the amazing opportunities our business has gifted us, all while watching this town grow and evolve right alongside it. We miss our Portland pals and dear family but embracing the experience! Thank you for being here and supporting us. ❤️
