We’re moving to Tennessee🤍

Eight years ago, we packed up our life in Portland and moved to Bend. We didn’t know many people here, but something about the mountains, the slower pace, and the space to dream felt right. We took a leap, and Bend became home... it’s where we grew our business, raised our family, renovated Tumalo Ranch, and built so many memories we’ll hold onto forever.

And now... we’re taking another leap. If you’d asked me a year ago where we’d land next, I never would’ve guessed Tennessee.

But somehow, all signs kept pointing us there. After months of dreaming, talking, and honestly, a little overthinking, it feels right.

But Oregon will always have our hearts- this is where our roots are and honestly, we love this community! So think of this as an expansion not an ending. We will continue to run our design studio here all the while maintaining and growing our clients in Bend and the Portland metro area. Our local clients and projects aren’t going anywhere, and neither are we entirely.

See, this move is both business and personal. For Clouz Houz, Tennessee opens doors Bend just can’t right now. The real estate market here has gotten tricky for investing and flipping, and we have always felt the pull to see a new part of the country (We are Oregonians through and through- neither of us have ever lived outside the state) However, this expansion allows us to grow in ways we’ve been craving because renovating homes for resale is a real passion of ours that we can’t deny.

I’m so excited (and a little relieved!) to finally share this. We move in a month (!!), and I can’t wait to take you along for the ride-from the emotional goodbyes to the new adventures ahead. Be prepared for a whole new fun lineup of renovations, design inspiration and how we navigate this next chapter.
