East Coast meets West Coast. We bought this Portland, Oregon property with the intent to renovate the existing home; however, after many meetings with our architect, we determined there were too many structural issues with the 1940's home. So, what started out as a remodel turned into a new build! This is the one home we have built from the ground up, and it was a showcase for sure. We wanted a classic and timeless aesthetic, but not too stuffy ... so we infused a West Coast vibe by adding bleached white oak flooring, lots of white paint on walls and cabinetry, and many beautiful transitional lighting fixtures in aged brass finishes. We are proud of this one!
