Photoshoot looks!
It was so fun playing dress up during our shoot last week and curating each look to reflect the moment. It’s amazing how fashion and interior design are like two sides of the same coin. Just as we choose outfits to express our style and mood, we craft interiors to reflect our lives and personalities.
My new go-to rule of thumb, every item in my closet must serve more than one purpose... for instance, this lace dress would be so cute layered with a jacket and boots, but also with heels for a holiday night out!

Everyone’s unique, and what works for one person doesn’t always mean it’s right for you. I often think back to my parents’ old saying, “If everyone jumped off a cliff, would you?” It’s such a classic reminder that just because something is trendy or popular doesn’t mean it’s the right fit for us.
As designers, it’s easy to get caught up in what seems to be working for friends, other firms, or the latest trends we see. But what truly matters is staying true to what resonates with us and our personal style. 🌟
Whether in design or life, it’s important to find what works for you and your unique vision. The best results come from embracing your individuality and not just following the crowd. So, let’s celebrate our differences and create spaces and lives that reflect who we really are.
And that’s a wrap! Last week’s photoshoot was one for the books, and an incredibly special one at that! Not only did we capture our ‘Oh Hey Highlands’ project that we have never had professionally photographed (huge thanks @borgorosati for collaborating on styling this incredible home), but it was also the first photoshoot at our High Desert Tumalo Ranch home! It was a dream to capture our home in its cozy era and we just couldn’t resist sharing some teasers.
We had so much fun with @bozemanmediadesign, it truly took a village to get everything captured just right. This has been months in the making. The shoot itself spanned two days filled with long hours of work, good laughs, and charcuterie breaks.
The best is yet to come and we can’t wait to share with you everything we have worked so hard to capture.
